Belt Buckle Necklace

The belt-buckle pendant is built in two pieces, not pressed from a single die. The rectangular frame is stamped first, then the inner crossbar (which mimics a belt buckle's pin without being functional) is welded into place under tension so it stays parallel to the frame edges. The herringbone chain underneath is a flat-snake weave at a 60-degree alignment angle, which is what gives that polished smooth surface; a 65 or 55-degree weave would show visible link junctions and read as cheap. Each link is calibrated to 0.05mm tolerance during the chain-weaving press, then individual links are heat-treated post-weave to lock the angle so the chain stays flat against the skin rather than twisting.
