About this collection

Chain necklaces are the foundation of every layered necklace stack — the building blocks you layer pendants over, mix with chokers, or wear alone for minimalist days. But most chains fail in the same way: the plating wears thin at friction points (under sweaters, against chain links), the clasp breaks under tension, and within a year your "gold" chain has visible silver showing through. Glozya chains are designed for the opposite experience. Every chain is 316L stainless steel — designed to resist tarnish, safe for sensitive skin, and made for daily wear including water contact. The 18K gold PVD plating is bonded molecularly, making it up to 10 times more durable than electroplated chains that flake off within months. Our collection spans six chain styles (paperclip, curb, rope, box, cable, snake) in lengths from 16" to 22", with most pieces featuring 2-inch extender chains for adjustability. Whether you're stacking three layers or wearing a single chain with a t-shirt, they hold their shape and finish through daily abuse.

What Makes Glozya Different

Which Chain Style Is Right for You?

Paperclip chains feature elongated rectangular links — modern, architectural, ideal for minimalist layering. Curb chains have classic interlocking flat links — the most versatile style, pairs with everything. Rope chains twist multiple wires together for depth and weight — best for solo wear. Box chains are small square-profile links — dainty, perfect under clothing. Cable chains are simple oval links — unobtrusive, a good base layer. Snake chains are smooth tubes with no visible linkage — elegant, best for evening. Most Glozya chains are 16"-22" with adjustable extenders. Browse all chain necklaces, our pendant necklaces, and layered necklaces for pre-styled stacks. Free shipping across Canada on $75+ with our 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What chain length should I buy?

16" sits at the collarbone (princess length, most common). 18" sits just below the collarbone. 20-22" sits at the top of the chest. For layering, mix 2-3 different lengths. Most Glozya chains include 2" extender chains for fine-tuning.

Which chain style layers best?

Paperclip and cable chains layer well with each other because their link shapes contrast. For three-chain stacks, combine one paperclip (textural), one curb (classic), and one rope (visual weight) for balance without competing.

Do Glozya chains tangle easily?

Chains can tangle when tightly packed — that's physics. To minimize: use a necklace detangler clasp (sold separately at any jewelry supply store), stagger chain lengths by at least 2 inches, and remove chains when not worn rather than piling them together.

How strong are the chains?

Glozya chains are 316L stainless steel — considerably stronger than sterling silver or gold-filled. Everyday wear (including accidental snags on clothing) won't break them. However, intentional pulling or hooking on objects can still damage any chain. Use reasonable care.

Will chains tarnish or turn my skin green?

No on both. 316L stainless steel doesn't react with skin (no green marks), and 18K gold PVD plating doesn't tarnish through years of water exposure. If you develop skin irritation from any jewelry claimed hypoallergenic, you may have an extremely rare nickel allergy — contact us for a full refund.
