Pearls are organic and irregular at the sub-millimeter level (no two are identical), but the CZ halo wells around the pearl must be machine-milled to a fixed depth so all 12 stones sit at exactly the same height. The two materials have opposite tolerance requirements. Our solution: each pendant is matched at finishing. The pearl is measured, then a halo plate from a sub-batch of corresponding well depth is mounted around it. The halo reads as perfectly uniform; the pearl reads as natural.
